Our Mission
The Brindorf Institute is a research organisation and think tank dedicated to gaining insights into the attitudes, concerns, and priorities of young Australians. We strive to provide valuable information and analysis to aid in understanding and addressing the needs of today's youth. Through regular surveys and public reports, we provide rigorous, nonpartisan analysis to inform policy, education, and public discourse.
Young people are constantly talked about, but less often listened to. The Brindorf Institute aims to change that.
We believe youth perspectives must be a critical component of serious conversations around housing, education, work, and more.
We operate as a public, independent youth insight group, designing, conducting, and publishing original research.
-
We design and distribute targeted surveys to young Australians aged 15–25
-
We publish open-access reports summarising key trends, statistics, and commentary
-
We share our findings with schools, councils, and public institutions to inform real decisions
We also aim to spark greater youth interest in public policy and decision-making. By making research accessible, engaging, and relevant, we hope to inspire more young Australians to think critically about the systems that shape their lives, and to see themselves as active participants in shaping the future.
Our Logo

Our logo represents the Brindorf Institute’s mission to bring clarity and insight to the evolving experiences of youth. Divided into three vertical segments symbolising the past, present, and future, it reflects the way generational understanding is built over time. As the segments transition from decayed to whole, they reflect the a movement from partial understanding to comprehensive insight, and the role we play in that.
